Skid plates and a good set of tires is all you really need to get started.

A Tether Kill Switch is needed.

A larger gas tank is another step.

Almost all races require an AMA or ATVA card

i plan on doing the wnyoa to get started, since thats the only circuit i know of in my area. ive decided ill get chest protector, handguards, hopefully skids and new helmet for christmas, and maybe my tires will be worn down enough to need to be replaced for my birthday(march) but thanks for the help. i know im gonna need a tether kill switch, but wheres the best place to get one? thanks for all the help.

you can get a tether switch off of the exriders forums, theres a few for sale for about 10-15.

IT adds up, it may not be that much to an adult with a full time job, but it is alot to a teenager.

for wnyoa series all you need to get started is your safety gear and then a good set of 6 ply tires. after that then you'll want to get some good skid plates, steering dampner, and maybe a pipe.
