I'm looking into a new pipe (HMF) and want to see if there's any interest in my used DMC.
There is physically and mechanically nothing wrong with the pipe. It is the 1st generation DMC...NOT the Alien. Repeat...NOT the Alien.;) Comes with spark arrestor. Not dings or dents. Last year, the upper mounting tab cracked but has since been professionally welded, by a buddy of mine. VERY strong now.
Honest to god, the only reason I'm thinking about a new pipe is this:
1) It's really loud, and I'm not as young as I used to be, so it gets to be a little much after a while. It's not a bad sound, but it is loud. Very distinct sound.
2)I want to ride the Oregon dunes with my dad but DMC has no quiet insert. And I don't need a sound violation every time I fire it up.
So, price a new DMC with a SA and you'll see what these cost.
If I can get $350 or so, I'll sell it. New w/ SA is close to $600
