Ok, i went out driving today and i noticed my front end is very squarily. it is ok till a little into a right turn then it really pulls to the right and it does not center.

does anyone have a clue what could be wrong? could the steering stem be bent at the brakets where the tie rods atatch?

please help, thanks:)

i checked the pressure and it was the same on both sides, 5.5

and what would the lug nuts have to do with it?

Maybe your tie rod is bent, check that. If you have aftermarket a arms maybe you need to adjust them.

if the lug nuts were loose it would make them wobble, nd if just one side was loose, with it wobbleing it would pull to that side. i know this is true cuz it happens to a friend of mine all the time.

Why don't you try jacking the front end of the quad up, then grab each of your front tires and move it from side to side. Then take a look at your ball joints and any other pivot point and see where there is slop at.

maybe your shocks are set at different settings? just a wild guess but it might be causing it.

I'd say your front end is outa allignment. Your Toe in or toe out is jacked up for sure...;)

Can you explain the issue in some more detail?

You say once you attempt to make a "right" turn, it pulls to the right, then does not center. Does it do the same when you attempt to turn to the left?

If you only notice an issue when making a "right" turn, it sounds to me something is either binding or loose.

If you sit on the atv, with the engine off, do the handlebars/steering stem/tie rods/wheels move freely when you turn to the right, and then to the left? Do you hear any funny noises?

Good luck finding and resolving your issue.

Have you came down hard on the front end (like from a jump) or have you ran into anything? It kind of sounds like you have bump steer from the frame or the a-arms being bent or not lining up properly.

Measure the toe-in. That sounds like the issue to me. You probably bent a tierod. It doesn't take much.

how can i measure the toe in?

Take a tape measure and check the distance between the tires. You take a measurement at the front and the back of your front tires. I don't have a manual in front of me but the tires shouldn't probably be toed in more than a 1/4 inch at the front of the tires.

I took off the tie rods. and i found that one side had a washer on the ball joint and the other side did not, would that throw off the geometry enough to cause the problem>?

i think that was what it was! i took her out today it it felt fine!

just a little washer like that can make a big difference i guess
