can you put a hood with maier race front?

We tried this on Veddersbetter's ex with no luck. I see no way that it would come even close to fitting even if you hacked the hell out of the plastic...........but I have seen pics of ex's with with race style plastic and hoods mounted on them. I am not sure what kind of plastic it was, maybe fullbore, or possibly meier race cut 250R plastic.

If someone has done this please post a pic.........otherwise I would not go and spend big $$$$ on buying parts to try this only to find out that it doesn't work.

Yes it is easy to add the 250r hood to maier plastics. Just drill holes and put bolts through it. http://portfolio.iu.edu/mlgraham/bristol_089.jpg the maier hoods flex pretty easy. heres the pic and the plastic is still forsale

what about a quad tech 250r carbon fiber hood??

I'm sure it would work b/c I had a feathercarbon 250r hood I had mounted to these same plastics.
