I want to get the stage 1 hotcam, but what other cams are close in comparison to this cam? I ride mostly trails.

i love my setup. draged a piped raptor and whoever got the holeshot won the race. we raced 6 or so times andit was dead even each time.

How does the stage1 feel compared to the stock cam. Does it feel like it dies off at topend like the stock cam.

my friend has a 10:1 compression piston with his stage 1 cam and it performs great. he actually has as much top end as i do and i am running a 10.8:1 compression with a stage 2 cam. however, i can get there a lot faster. i think if i remove my heavier tires, i would pass him up top too. anyways, the stage 1 will give you top end increases for sure.

how much performance do you gain if you get a better cam with hardened rockers and springs? I am lookin at cams right now..how is hotcams compared to a tc or a web? or is it just a price issue?

You only need hardened rockers if the cam requires them.Look for a "drop in cam".They are a direct replacement for the stock no upgades needed.
