I have a 2001 400ex motor that I just put in a new set of rings. It just a stock but it's still strong.

And I live in Canada so shipping would be alot cheaper then in the US. I wanted 800 (US) but since your in canada just gave me 1000$Can + shipping, and it's yours.

I've got a 350X, but it's a bit of a gamble.

It's never been started, it was taken out of a 350X when they were banned in 86. Ordinarily, these motors sell for about $1000 (U.S. dollars), but like I said, mine is a gamble.

I can see a small amount of rust on the exhaust valves, they may need to be replaced. Worst case scenario, the cam and rockers may have rust, as well as the bottom end, and it's only worth $200.

Or, they might not be rusted, and everything is in decent working order. The bottom end has oil, so my bet says it's not rusted. Maybe a new bore (and thus a new piston), and you're good to go, with a bottom end that is in perfect shape because it's never been beat up on, perfect crank, ect ect. Basically, a brand-new bottom end. Other than rust (which the oil should prevent) they ain't gonna wear out just sitting on a shelf for 20 years.

I'm not willing to put any work into this engine. I'd let it go as it sits for $500 plus shipping. If I work on it to fix it up, it won't be going for any less than $1000.

Ask anybody on here, I'm an OK guy. I'm not trying to rip anybody off with this "it's a gamble". If I knew for certain if this motor was junk, I'd tell you. But I don't know for certain, and I think the bottom end is in pretty good condition, considering it does have oil and it's never been run.

I have a FDO full race 440 engine, nikasil bore, JE piston, Heavy duty rod, falicon balanced crank, lightened flywheel, Hinson complete clutch assembly, hard welded cam/rockers, ported. I paid over $3500 for the motor work alone.

I have 2003 400ex motor.It has wiseco 440 big bore kit with 11 to 1 compression piston, stage 2 hot cam,corrilo rod with 39mm fcr carb.motor ripps, very strong and very reliable. also has new shifter shaft and shifter.have more parts if interested let me know.
