I forgot what holes the water gets into but it doesnt mean anything. As long as water isnt pouring out of your bearing carrier all is good.
just a lttle water comes out of mine everytime...just make sure none is coming out of carrier

how do i know if it is coming out of the carrier
Might be a good time to take everything apart and clean it out. If the water is coming out between the carrier and the swingarm I don't think there is much of a problem. If it is coming out of the carrier itself there are big problems.

Yes but you'll need to remove the axle first. NOt a hard project at all. I can pull my rearend off in about 20 minutes top. I"d say the water is just coming out of the swingarm and not the carrier. Very common problem. THe carrier is not solid all the way thru the swingarm, there is a gap that will hold water.

so is it ok
yes it is fine.....;) just make sure none is coming out of the carrier. If there was water coming out of there your dust seals have probably dissapeared...put your 4 wheele up on a jack & grab the axle & see if it wobbles any inside the swingarm..if it does you need to get 2 new bearings & 2 new dust seals...I just changed mine on halloween night to keep me out of trouble...after you do this project you will know your rear end inside & out

Their are two rubber bushings ate the front of the swingarm and sometimes those dont seal all the way and water gets through, I put a hold through one of mine, and am going to fix it since I got a new carrier and axle now

If you've never had it apart before, I wouldn't touch that "water'. I heard the Japanese were smuggling liquid LSD into the states by filling that cavity in the rear end with it... then draining it when it got here. They must've missed that one...:eek2: :huh :eek2: :huh
im going to smoke it then
