hard clutch pull

my clutch is gettin really hard to pull (its stock). im thinkin of taking the cable off and trying to clean it out, but what else could it be? i have a pipe and filter (see sig) so my clutch isnt maxed out and taking a crap on me. is it just a dirty cable? what is the best way to clean it. anything else i should check for? any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Use a cable luber and spray lubricant on the cable. Don't forget to clean/lubricate the arm at the case to remove debris/dust/mud.:)

Spend the $12 on a new cable, you'll be amazed at the difference..;)
