Which side is the nut supposed to be on ? is it suppoed to be agaisnted the rotor? or on the outside closer to the tire.. i dont know how the hell it works....

You need to purchase a service manual. On my 300ex the lock nut tightens against the axle nut which is the side closest to the tire.

Yes, get a repair manual. It is a very small investment in the maintenance of your quad.

I can't seem to find my manual at the moment:mad: It is usually right here:grr: Anyway, I think when you slide the threaded sleeve on the axle the skinny nut should be closer to the rotor and the wider nut should be farther away.

Tighten down the wider nut (left hand threads) to spec then lock it in place with the skinny one, tightend to spec.

I'm 90% sure this is the way to do it:p
