In the manual that I got with my WB pipe they said a 155 main jet worked best with 12 discs.....I don't know what size main to run if your not going to run any spark arestor plate??does it give you any more power by doing that I dout it ..I tried it on mine & if anything I think I lost power. "made the squid behind me go half deaf though"..........

Yep, A 152 or 155 main jet (Kehien) should be fine. Don't waste your time or ear drums with running no spark arrestor.

there is a good chance you need a larger pilot jet with your built motor. you could try turning the fuel skrew out 3 turns or so and see if that helps.

i also just bought a white bro e series pipe and a white bro foam filterand a high rev box.I have a stock quad. from what i have been reading the main jet should be 150-155. what about the needle and pilot jet? do those need changed too. i also have a dynojet kit that came with a needle. i plan on running part time with air box lid off and part time on, depending on conditions.what is the stock jetting on a 400ex?

Stock jetting:
148 main
38 pilot
needle clip in the middle

These numbers are Kehien (stock) jets. Dyno jets have a different numbering system. I belive WB/Dyno jet includes jetting recomendations. Use that fao a starting point.

The pilot and needle don't 'need' to be changed but some people do. A larger pilot will help cold starting.
