hey, how hard is it to put a 250r engine into a chassis, i was looking to buy a 250r rolling chassis and buy a modded motor, is is really complicated? thanks

just get it lined up and put the bolts through the mounts. hardest part is squeezing it into the frame....takes me about 20 minutes (not including torquing the bolts). then the wiring, airbox, carb, and radiator are all downhill from there

i was thinking a 250r motor would be a little easier to get it,(by looks only) im not sure if you were comparing it to ur 250x but i use to have a 250x and it was a b*tch to get out, my friend had crahsed it so finally i got so mad i cut the engine brackets out, came out nice and easy then:D

its easy on the r. i got to where i can do it all in an hour and be riding it.

yeah its not hard at all if you have any knowledge with tools

ya mines a peice. i did it like 800 times in 4 mounths. then parked it and got the 400

if i can mount a 400 engine and be ready to go in less than half an hour, you can have that 250 installed in >20 minutes. Have the right tools for the job though. It helps

The 250r motor is really easy to mount. It's easiest to leave the headstay and the front motor mounts off until after the engine is already in the frame.

I suggest the medium strenght loctite on all your nuts and bolts.
