I shattered the carrier on my 300ex. So I need to get a new carrier and axle b/c my axle is worn where the bearings ride. I've heard about dual row and tapered carriers are these any better than the rest?? and what about axles (need to stay stock or +1 width). What companies fairly cheap and good quality?

Thanks

I have a dual row bearing carrier in my ATC250R. I like it that it has a grease fitting on it and that it should last a lot longer than stock. The tapered bearing carriers should work very well too but you will have to keep up on adjusting them properly. If you get them to tight the axle will bind and wear fast and if you get them to loose they will have excessive play and wear fast.
