Has anyone tried one of these telescoping safety flags? http://www.rockymountainatv.com/home.asp?sid=0003438444

I have one. I haven't put it on the bike yet though. I have had it over a year. It isn't very long. And as soon as I roll my quad, it looks like it will break. That spring doesn't look like it will help.

OK, Thanks.. I thought that might be the case, guess I'll stick to the traditional fiberglass one.

I purchased one of those telescoping safety flags and it didn't even make it through my first ride. It didn't break only because it fell out of that rinky dink spring. These are definately NOT worth the $$

That's to bad.. I wish someone would make a telescoping flag that would hold up. Sure would be nice to be able to put the flag down when transporting/storing.

Cascade makes a nice 'quick release' flag mount. About $20-25, well worth it IMO:)

I have a quick release flag...takes a 9/16 bolt and a wrench! Takes about 10 seconds! haha

I went to the Badlands with a bunch of friends who had them telescoping flags, and they all broke within the first hour......talk about a waste of money
