Valve Question

I adjusted my valves for the second time. The left-side intake was only 0.001 loose, whereas the right-side intake was 0.006 loose. The nuts were tight on each, so I don't think the difference has anything to do with a loose nut. Is this difference normal?

My guess is that maybe the first time you adjusted the valves you didn't hold the adjuster with a screwdriver while tightning the locknut. Did you you recheck after tightening everything down? Just a guess.:)

2slow: Yes, that's why it is so puzzling, as everything was right on, torqued and checked. Maybe I'm just getting old and didn't check that one correctly? Possible I guess. :( Actually that would make the most sense...

Has anyone else had one that was a lot farther out than the rest? If not, then I'll just wait until my next adjustment and see if it happens again.
