what kind of quad jacks does everyone use? i have a craftsmen atv/motorcycle jack but it just doesnt raise the quad high enough, it works well, but a large jack like i see people at the racetrack with would work much better. What brands make these? i know X factor and Graydon do, but do any brands have them with wheels on them so you can move them around?
or has anyone bought a x factor or graydon and actually just drilled/ put in wheels to it? would that work?
thanks

I put mine on a stand that is 18 inches high, that gets the wheels off of the ground a couple of inches. Then I just sit on a brake stool to work on it. I wish I had a ATV jack with casters.

I shove my right arm through the front of the frame, left arm through the rear, and lift. Use my foot to kick a crate under the quad, set it down. Remember, lift with your legs... ;)

i got an atv jack that i got from wal-martr , it was on sale for 50 bucks, it worked good for a year and a half, untill recintl, the safty broke off, so you can jack it up, but the safty stays on and it does not want to come down, i just need to get the safty re welded. I think it is called "black jack by torin" i think.
I picked up one of those x-stands the other day...its really nice, i wish I had gotten one sooner, it comes with 3 ratchet tie downs to keep your quad on the stand
working on the quad has never been easier, I decided to change the location of my damper a little bit because it wasnt fully aligned properly, and I was able to sit on a stool and work on it without bending over

and yea you need to be able to lift the front of your quad up to the grab bar...if you can't do this you either 1. have a utility, or 2. you're not big enough for the quad your ridin

heres the thing, i can get my quad up on the grabbar now, it takes some talent id ont know why, i can lift my polaris trailblazer and the warrior which both weigh wayy more than the cannondale, but when my quad goes up on teh grabbar it wont stay bc it hits the exhaust first, so u need one person to hold the quad, and another to slide the jack under, i just find that 2 ppl is 1 person too many to jacvk it up
bigbadbrad - my arm thing that moves my craftsmen broke right off too..imma see if i can get that replaced

We have one from Schucks/checker it's got wheels on it but we have to take one of the nerfs off for it too sit on there right as for scooting it around w/ the quad on it it seemed to work ok w/ the blaster on it.
