The GT Thunder cam is a mid-top camshaft. They regrind the stock EX cam on a smaller base circle to change the specs. Since it is a reground stock cam, hardface rockers are not necessary. The cams are great for the money. A friend of mine bought his for about $160.00. I have yet to ride his bike. So I cannot give a first hand report. He is very pleased with it.

GT Thunder has 2 cams, they just don't advertise the one that needs valve springs, shorter guides, etc. Thier drop-in one is the one that everyone talks about.

Mine works great with their 12.5:1 piston and WB slip-on.
