crash and burned maier hand guards

While i was out riding today i was playing in a mud pit. As i was wipping a 360 my tire all of a sudden grabbed hold and.....the kid rolled on 'er side and i went about 5 feet in the air (MY KNEE IS KILLING ME). Well when i rolled Kid over, i saw the ground had jacked up the hand guard. So, i am now looking for some Acerbis guards. I like the ones with the aluminum in them. Who is running them. Do you like them? Where did you get 'em from and how much? I don't think maier hand guards should be called that.....more like wind deflectors.:mad:

i have acerbis rally pro... they are the one with the metal inside... the best place is rocky mountain atv... they are 10$ cheaper then anywhere else i know of... i have rolled my quad 2 times now with mine on and the first time they didn't move... the 2nd time it ripped the one off so i just had to order a new mounting kit... they reason why it busted off was bc it smacked into a huge rock when it hit... i am tellin u they are unbreakable... i love them... nuttin hits my hands, i can ride on someones rear and i can still hold on...thye don't get in the way... and they work great... i tell everyone to get them and everyone that rides my quad likes them...

I have those plastic maiers, I dont think theyre too bad.....


My cousin has the Acerbids, all I can say is that they are awesome, he got them from our Honda dealer for like 70 bucks

My only complaint is the color, the red IS NOT red, its like pinkish, dont get red, get black or sumthing

my friends had blue on his yzf and it was really a nice color... my other friend had white on his old 400ex and it looked awesome with his ceet sticker kit... and i have seen red b4 at the dealership and i had red mx ones on my 80 and they looked like stock honda red to me...
