Sweet...they sound nice, i can't wait to see it.

I also ordered the +2 arms, but ordered them directly from Houser. I ordered the silver vein, but no chrome. Mine should be here this week. Let me know if there are any 'tricks' to putting them on. I'm anxious to see your pics, too.

Hey Jhallett, I just noticed that run TCS shocks. Me too, and I love 'em. Did you have your fronts revalved for the +2 a-arms? I just sent mine off to TCS to have them do that.

When u guys added the Plus 2 A arms was it wider then the rear then? If so it sounds like you have to do A arms and Rear axle at the same time.

I also have the Houser's in silvervein. Luv them. The front is just as wide with the rear when using the stock axle. Make sure you put caps on the grease fittings before you ruin them.

That looks Sweet. You have gotten a lot of Mods for your 400EX this Winter. Looks Good.

JhallettEX....Yes I'm talking about the grease fittings on the bottom of the a-arms. I went to grease mine up a few days ago and found two of them baged up from rocks. I accidently pulled one out. Anyway, i found some grease fitting covers to protect them. You should be able to find them at any good hardware store.

Good luck with those arms. I wish I would have gotten the chrome tops .

I cant help but notice how closely a houser a-arm looks llike a laeger a-arm...........or vice versa..............

On laeger aarms, isnt it a round tube where the shock mounts are? IF it is, i think the housers would proably en dup being stronger then the laegers for less money.

Just installed my new Hauser +2 got chrome and red they are VERY nice but I have a question got new braided front brake lines got them on but not sure if I should strap them to the arms or just leave them free what did you guys do with yours.
Also on the upper ball joint I have heard the 1/2 nut on the wheel side can come loose I just put loc tite on it any other ideas I heard one guy welded his and uses washers to adjust wheel angle

The Laeger A-Arms do have a Round Tube where the Shock Mounts are. The Houser might be a little stronger. You can`t go wrong with Laeger or Houser.

On my Brothers Laeger A-Arms there is a little Tab at the End of the Arm to put a Wire through to hold the Brake Line. I don`t know if Houser Arms have that on them or not. I think that is the only Place my brother has his held up.

Yea i'd also say the Laeger and Houser aarms are both good. When you buy laeger u get the laeger name. The houser long travel front end is supose to be great too. It has alot less bump sterr at the LOBO. Many people feel the lobo front end is the best of their but it really isnt. The new gibson front end from KANDK and East Coast are looking good.
sorry for getting off topic/

That Houser Long Travel Front End would be Sweet to have. I have always liked Nac`s Racing and when we got in to Quads they ran Laeger and PEP. That`s why I like Laeger and PEP the Best. I think the Setup I would Best Love to own would be a: Laeger Pro-Trax 400EX Style Frame, T-Pin Front End, Laeger Swingarm, and PEP ZPS Shocks all around. Add a TC 416 Motor and I would never want to Ride the Dang Thing.

GT Thunder is making a new long travel front end for the 400ex..similer to the laegars pro trax or whatever it's called. It comes with shocks for $2000

my dream quad would have an entire leager 400ex chassis with a tpin front end, and a curtis sparks totally reworked motor
warriorman...i like nacs to, they are a little high on some things, but thats the only place ill order from now

My dream quad? Walsh racecraft chasis with pep zps shocks all around and a YZ 426 with a TC 440 kit.

That would be a wicked ride.

A Laeger/PEP/TC 416EX would be Awesome to have, but my Dream Quad would be a Laeger/PEP/TC/AC/Nac`s/Outerwears/ITP/Hiper/RPM/ CRF450R Quad. I don`t think I missed any Body.

Nac`s is High on some Stuff. I don`t really Buy to much from them, but I have always liked the Race Team Setups. I liked the Setup in 99 when Digger Doug won the Title. It was Laeger/PEP/TC.

ya you missed the fullbore plastic to cover it all up. I would agree with you though that is the best setup ever.

Yeah I forgot about Plastic. I also need to add Motion Pro, Tag, Fastline, and Clarke. I think that is all now. I have to make sure I get all those Sponsers Out.

Yeah, i too would LOVE to have a laeger framed, t-pinned 400ex. ooooooooohhh, that would be nice. But my favorite quad EVER was Travis Spaders Duncan Racing/Roll Design 250r. last years, the one that he won the championship with. that was a sweet bike.

Heres what you do,,,cut off a small piece of your gas vent hose,,like a quarter of an inch,,then run a zip tie through the hose and around your arms,,,looks really good and keeps the line from rubbing your arms,,I could get a pic if ya need me too if I'm not makin since..
