Which would be better for xc racing

What would be better for xc racing a z400 that I woul d need to get shocks and +1 a-arms for or a 250r that won the b class here in fl? The z i could trade stright up for my shee.and the r I would have to sell my shee to get it what do u guys think?

the Z400 is a good trail bike, but a 250r set up correctly rocks!

if i had to pick between my KFX and my buddy's 310r set up for XC....i would take his R :D

Ok now here is the problem I would I to sell my shee do get the R.Now as alot of u know I have had no luck selling my shee. Now The Z the guy said he will trade me stright up but it would nee some shocks and +1 a-arms f not that its a big deal

I don't care for the Zs myself but thats what I would do unless the r is decked. A stock Z does just fine in XC unless you are riding in the faster classes.
