Hey guys, i'm looking to rebuild my new 400ex for the race season next year with the best money can buy. I just moved up to amateur, and need somthing more than my old 406. It just wouldn't cut it with the new fourstrokes. If anybody has an engine kit with some time on it now, I'd really like to know how you like it and how it compares to other kits you've rode on or raced against. I don't have a problem running race gas, but I'd like them to able to run for a long time, not need a rebuild every month, or be tuned within an inch of it's life. If anybody has any suggestions, reviews, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

my 425 kit from tc is flat out awesome. It has the honda reliablility, and the balls of a racer. This thing smokes raptors like nothin. the engine was built for top end, yet i am still able to lug thegears easily

i rode pappys TC racing 425ex and that thing flat out hauled!!! very very quick... TC racing or Sparks will be ur best motors but u will also have a long wait with them...

also u may want to think about a hybrid motor in there... yzf426 motors are cheap now... its a option;)

i think TC would be your best bet..they will have a long wait but it'll be worth iti had a 330 profab motor one time and it was a quick lil motor for a 300ex..also i've heard good thing about FDO

Do you know how long TC's wait is, I've heard a lot of great thigns about their motors, but time is kind of a problem due to ice racing this winter. Any other opinions. Thanks guys.

I've heard nothing but good things from all, Sparks, TC, FDO, and GT Thunder.

If you want a torque monster, send your motor to TC :blah: .
