250R question(s)

hey, I am stuck on deciding which quad to get. Id like a Honda 250R but i heard they are very high maitnence and the frames are weak. I dont think i will be doing any racing for a while (year(s)). what do the 250R's usually go for. Like stock to little mods. I got about $2600 to spend. Im also looking at 400EX's and warriors. But id like to get a decked out warrior. I ride a lot on trails and friends tracks. Muddy conditions at times too. Can someone please help?

i have a 250r and i love it. any quad has high maintanence you just have to check everything whenever you ride like you would do on any quad. you could find yourself a nice R for $2600. hope that helped a little bit

would a stock to semi stock 250r beat a MX bike(125) and a 400ex?

the 250r should give a 125 a run for its money. im pretty sure the R can beat a 125 and the i believe the 250r has a higher top speed than the 400ex. it depends on the rider mostly
