my 440 always was fine. no problems.always no problem starting in gear, cold, clutch pulled in. stock clutch wore out.installed ebc dirt racer clutch.a real piece of shizz.ran it a dozen times no problem with cold start drag.although i had to adjust all day long.the thing must grow a 1/4 inch thoughout the temperature changes of the engine.cold tight hot loose.got sick of adjusting replaced with barnett.hooks up great never slips at any temp.. but now when i start in gear feels like clutch does not disenguage big lunges forward then releases and then begins to crank. is this a problem with the basket, pressureplate,or is this from the clutch.basket -plate stock doesnt look like worn.no excessive grooves.poss warped dont know. thanks

Our warrior does this really bad, but is fine once it gets warmed up, but the clutch is slipping on it too now. But my R also does it, not bad though but a little bit, but is fine once it gets warmed up too.
