How reliable is the transmisson in a cr450 dirtbike once you put in a quad, i was told i'll only get about 1 racing season in before it goes out, is this true?

I would say very reliable. It kinda depends on how your ride it but I highly doubt that it will go out after one season. Most trannies are pretty strong.

Just be sure to change the oil alot. my bike only holds about 600CC's of oil in the tranny side..... so thats why its good to change it alot. If you do that, it should be pretty reliable.....havnt had any trouble with mine.
