Can anyone recommend jetting for a 440 with Hotcam, WB exhaust system and stock carburator? What about airbox mods?
Does the 41mm FCR really make a difference and what would the best way to set up the jetting and airbox for that one.
I'm trying to set this 440 up for a friend.
Any info is appreciated.

what temp your ride in?? whats your altitude?? are you asking about airbox mods or did you mod your airbox?? the fcr will make a nice difference. i don't know much about the 41mm, but many people love their 39mm's.

The elevation is about 700ft and temps about 60-90 degrees.
I haven't modified the airbox yet.I need some suggestions on how to achieve the best performance out of the 440.I would like to retain the airbox because the machine see's water, but if I need to chop it up abit,I will.

you could leave the lid on and see how it runs. or, you could put a few holes in it or you can get an outerwear or K&N airbox lid. the jetting will change between 60 and 90 degrees. in the cold months, you could try a 158. in the warmer months, try a 155. jetting is mainly trial and error. removing the lid or modifying the lid may change the jetting depending on the temp. these should get you in the ball park though.
