Anybody running one of these? Seems like a good idea, but rocks and plastic don't mix. Let me know. Thanks, Charlie.

ive heard those hammer force skids are good, cuz they have a kind of flex to them and after deflecting rocks they go back to their original position, but what i was scared about was that if they have alot of flex then maybe they would bend up when hit by a rock and the rock might bend something else and then the plastic will go back so it will look fine but something would bel bent or dented, we need some more replies, ne of u guys out there have a hammer force skid???

Sorry Charlie.......

I don't know of anyone running them. I have never seen them at any of my "rocky" locations. I personnaly would not test them plastic skid plates out on the rocky trails, I have the same feeling, plastic and rocks just don't mix.

A friend of mine rides in the mountains and he has an Armadillo brand skid plate....still looks new after a year of rough riding.

I have PRM's on my 400ex and my 350x. Had them on my 2 Quadracer 500's. Also had them on my 250r's. I see somebody makes a stainless steel one, but stainless is heavy. I'm gonna stick with the PRM stuff. It's been bullet proof so far. Plastic and rocks don't mix. I was just curios on how the were.
