Renthal Bars

Thinking about getting new renthal bars for my 400 and was wondering why you guys cant use the center plastic cover piece?
It looks crapy without covering up the mount area to me!

You can use the cover piece with Renthals, it's just that I have my Pro-Design kill switch mounted there.

You can snap it back in there. Mine rattled a little bit and rather than mess with it I just took it out.

Buy a Honda Racing Bulge Bar Pad. I have one on with my stock bars and it looks really trick. You can get them out of any catalog for 15 bucks and in several colors and styles.

moto93, you have your pro design kill switch mounted under your bar pad of your renthals? i thought i was the only guy like that and i felt kinda weird about it since most guys mount em up by the clutch more. its good to know other people are mounting it down there too.

you can putthe cover back on. i reinstalled mine and all I did was used a ziptie to keep it from rattling. cant even really see the ziptie. I went through the hole the screw goes through for the stock bars and wrapped it around the handle bars. hope this helps
