what would be the cheapest way to stiffen up my suspension for jumping? i have a 2004 400ex stock

Jeff,
I have an issue of being to "ehh" big for my quad and thus i cant set my sag properly for the rear shock without making the shock a pogo stick. i am in need of a stiffer rear spring for my YFZ, i believe. I asked Santos already but he hasnt gotten back to me yet so i wanted to run this by you. I am 6'4" and 280. what spring would you suggest?

Oh I see. You will have to do more than go with a stiffer spring, you will need to revalve because a stiffer spring will have the same effect as dialing in more preload, it will make it have that pogo feeling. I'm assuming you already tried turned your compression and rebound adjustments in?
