I just bought a Magura clutch for 400ex. One question is why does it have to be hooked up all the way before you can pull in the clutch.

Just to make sure Im doing it right. So I just hook it up at the handlebars like a regular clutch would, then route the line down to the transmission. Then I just slip the shaft though the mounting bracket and tighten it with the nut. What is the trick to getting the shaft to hook into where the the transmission is?

Also I heard the shaft is easy to bend. So as long as I am careful during install and make sure it is lined up properly I shouldnt have any problems? Thanks for any tips or help.

sorry, i have no clue

but how much did you pay for your clutch ? is it for a 400ex?

And you wont want to pull it in before its all hooked up because it will... pull the cable in (or whatever it does lol) and it wont come back out :)
