i have a 400ex brand it has a brand new clutch in it i rode it one day for about total of 5 hrs i put the quad in the garage and when i went to move it a day later it was in 1st gear.. so i pulled the clutch lever in and it didnt disengage until i rocked the bike.... is this a common problem or are my clutches sticking together already?????????? please help me out
any info would be great

mine does that to....sometimes i have to rock it back & forth to get it in nuetral.....:confused:

mine did it too since the day i got it...;) not a big deal...u get used to it & completely forget about it

mine does it to with my sparks 8 disk setup.

Yes that is fairly common.

Perfectly normal, when the motor isn't running, all the clutch plates kind of "stick together" Rocking it back and forth breaks them lose. That's why when the motor is running, the rotation of the motor break then lose immediatley and allows the cluth to activate right away.;)

well thanks alot for all your info i am glad that its not a big deal...i just heard that the clutches could be sticking together because they got all burnt up and i was worried about that
