steering links?

Ok well im trying to get my stupid steering stem off. but i cant get the steering links off! you know the rods that go from the stem to the wheels.

you have to unscrew a bolt. but it doesnt unscrew it just spins. and i tryed to hold on to it with a plyers and now the boot that holds dust out poped so theres grease all over. I need some major help this is pissing me off!

Use a 14mm open end wrench to hold the shaft between the stem and the tie roid end and another open end wrench or socket on the nut. I don't think you will get a good enough grip with pliers and most are too wide.

ok thanks, i didnt notice that that it accepted a wrench.:confused:
