View Full Version : How to post pics from Image station and others that allow URL sharing.
Ive gone in and fixed alot of posts that only had the link showing, so the pic would show. Dont laugh, you might be computer savvy, but alot of people are not. Heres how to do it step by step.
This sounds hard, but its not really. First set up a www.imagestation.com photo album. Upload your photos to it. Go to your photo album in Image station. Open the pic in your photo album, right click on the pic and then left click on properties. Copy the address by holding the left mouse button down while dragging across the address. Right click in the highlighted blue. Left click on copy. At EXriders in the new thread/post screen, say what you want in the post . Then click IMG, A box opens up in the top left. Right click to the right the HTTP:// on the line. Left click on paste. Click "OK". Click submit reply way down at the bottom. There it is!

You know you can hit the edit button down on the right hand corner and edit a post instead of hitting the reply button and created 5 posts with nothing in them.;) You can also delete useless posts by hitting edit, then look at the top and you can delete now...;)

I looked at your other posts. Go look yourself. The last [IMG] in your addresses has a slash in them. It will not work like that.

IrFanView is a picture viewer...yer gonna have to upload your pictures to a hosting website and then link those pics thru here.
goto imagestation...they have a decent service, but are kinda quirky with cut and paste of urls for pic posting. but those quirks can be solved with the info in this post :D

Does Image Station cost any $$?
BKex, You had it almost right, but you left a . at the end of the address. The address should end with .jpg (not .jpg.) I fixed it for you. Click on edit down at the bottom right corner and have a look. SGA

That was the first time I tried using that hyperlink to post a picture, and it didnt work..... where did I screw up?

I did this one a couple weeks ago some people may need to use the pictures to get it.
