does it fight right there? i have a 93 300ex and i could get a '01 rappy rear shock for cheap, do i need anything else?

i weight over 200lbs, is it good for me?

yep, bolts right up, stock spring is good for your wieght. all you will need are a few wire ties to mount the rez.

thanks!

that helps me so much, and what is the difference between the 300 and the rappy shock? stiffer? softer?

better ride, lowers the rear a little (handles turns a little better) harder to bottom, rebuildable, compression and rebound adjustable. all in all, its just a better part.

It will make your 300 sit higher or lower, depending on what it is valved for, what spring you use, and how far down you have the preload. When the shock is dialed in right, it is wonderful. If you are goning to get it revalved and you plan on jumping it alot, get it valved for a little more than what you weigh.

It will sit lower no matter how you have it valved or sprung!
DO NOT have it set up for more than you weigh! Tell the builder exactly what you weigh and what type of riding you do. If you tell them something else, then it won't be right for you. I have seen lots of people try this and they always are first to complain that the shock is to stiff or to soft.

ok, but what kind of spring do you want me to ride, else the stock one? i dont think i will change it anyway, just the raptor stock shock, and i will adjust it the ay i like the most

and does it only adjusts on the shock or also on the rezzie?

tks

The stock raptor spring will be just right for you since your over 200lbs.
The compression aduster is on the rezzie.

ok but i dont think i'm gunna rebuild the shock, but if it is in bad condition i wont have choice, but he seems good, so i will leave it this way, will it be ok?

if the shock is in good condition and you dont have any issues with the way it rides, dont woory about rebuilding it.
