Ahhh...does anyone think they can help me w/ this? My computer whenever I go to www.tripod.com this display comes up...http://pictureposter.allbrand.nu/pictures/shiznikchik69/crappy.jpg

It does that sometimes as well when I go to other sites. Does anyone know how I can fix it? I have a very good feeling that my computer is going to crash here really soon...just because all the things its doin:huh If not..I'll probably get it re-formatted soon...

If u can help, thanxs so much!

I just hope it can hold off from crashing until I get the cable for my other hard drive, so I can at least put my songs on it (over 500...I don't wanna lose them, cuz I have 56 k...)

There is no such .dll found in Windows, unless installed by another program. Sounds like spyware to me.

Run Ad-aware 6. This program is pretty sweet.

Holy crap Zephead, I thought that sounded like a good idea so I downloaded that program. It found and quarentined 370 items on my pc!

Thanks for the heads up.

Another computer question. Do you or anyone know why when I uninstall AOL, it cheeses things up? I now have cable internet and when I uninstalled AOL, it acted like I no longer had an internet connection. I reinstall AOL, and my cable connection is now good. WTF?

hmm...do you ever us AOL? From everything that I know, what you said totally contradicts itself. Usually if you do not use AOL, it only makes things worse having it on the machine b/c AOL is a peice of pooh:blah: Do you usually use like Internet Explorer? Netscape? If so, uninstall AOL, then try to troubleshoot the connection issue. Uninstalling AOL should not kill your connection...just does not make sense.

get back with me Yellow416ex!

I use IE with my Comcast connection. The AOL thing is weird. I uninstalled it once a while back when I started using Netzero and it did the same thing. I uninstalled AOL and my Netzero would not connect. I looked at the connection after I uninstalled it today but I couldn't figure anything out. Doesn't make sense to me either. The only thing I can thing of is that maybe it removes some .dll file or screws with the registery or something.??????????

Well...I know that AOL puts all kinds of crap on the pc, who knows what files it takes over, probably all sorts of .dll files. Is IE provided by AOL? At the top of IE does it say, IE provided by AOL? If so, that is probably the problem, I can explain later if that is the case. However, what version of Windows are you using?

Still doesnt make much sense. Does NetZero provide free tech support?

let me know man!

Amen! You couldnt due much more harm to your pc if you run your garden hose through the cpu to clean out the dust then run Windows ME:macho

Well, if you were to uninstall IE6 then you wouldnt have a browser to go online to reinstall IE.

Have you ran Ad-aware?

Zep,

After reading the last few posts, I may have found my problem. I too have Win ME. Maybe that's what's causing mine to be weird????

I've got a bunch of points built up from a Gateway MasterCard that I have, just may order XP upgrade tomorrow. While I'm at it, might as well get some more memory too.:macho :D
