GNCC up and comer, Joe Kish passes

GNCC regular, Joey Kish (23, Roseville, OH) was killed in a job-related accident. Kish was making a name for himself in ATV racing. He won the District 11 ATV Championship in 2000 and this year he finished third overall from his Open A class at the John Penton GNCC in Millfield, OH. What's more, Kish recently raced his first Pro Production race at The Spartan GNCC in Sparta, Kentucky, where he finished a respectable sixth place. He also teamed up with Todd Krupinski (Marysville, OH) and won the A class Buddy-Up Cross Country Series Championship.

Services will be held at the Cannon & Laning Funeral Home, 33 S. Main Street, Roseville, Ohio, 43777 (740) 697-777. Visitation will be held tomorrow from 6-8 pm, and Sunday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Services will be conducted on Monday at 11 am at the funeral home.

Joey is survived by his parents, Joseph and Peggy Kish. Racing friends are encouraged to send cards and letters to Joey’s family at 12320 Old Rainer Road, Roseville, Ohio, 43777.

Our prayers go out to the Kish family.
