What do you guys think of the Renthal grips? (not the half waffle or full waffle, these are the ones with no thread things on them)

Colby and my brother both have them on their cannondales and there comments were they did not care for them. I rode their bikes and did not care for them I got a few blisters.. I think they have the medium compound maybe the soft would be better

Ya they come in Soft, Medium, and Hard.

The name of them was Full Diamond MX Grips.

But Im not satisfied with anything else. My Smiths were probably the longest lasting ones Ive had so far (about 3 months), cause I ride and practice everyday; so I need something strong that wont hurt my hands as much.

Scott Grips- lasted me through 2 weeks, they just tore apart.

Scott USA's werent too bad, they tore down in a short time also.

Those were the Smith ones that I was talking about before; I just didnt know what they were called. Thanks anyway!

I was thinkin about TAG grips cause I would have the bars to go with them, but if theres a bad review with them, then I dont want them.

For Grips I won't use anything other than Oury. They last a long time and are really comfortable too.

Since I have a twist throttle, I have a wider range of grips to pick from. I tried Scott huricanes, but they are too hard (blisters!!!!). I now hav PRO Grip gel. Have any of you ever used these? They seem to be slightly bigger around, and are realy soft. How do they hold up? I have also had good luck with Oury.

So nobody has tried the gel grips, they look like they would be sweet, but might wear out to fast. I might just pick up some spider grips. I like that you can pick from a variety of colors with the spider grips.

The gel grips feel great right now. Let me get some time on them and I will let you know how they hold up. They feel like they will not last too many hare scrambles, but that is why I tried them. I have a couple mounths befor i will have a race, I'll get back too you then.

I love the Fly MX grips they are the bomb! They are waffle on the finger side and gel on the palm side. They work great and are pretty durable.

I hate my Scott Hurricanes... just yesterday I was hittin a small 30 footer and when I landed, all those threads on the grip just gave way and it felt like I broke my wrist...... I landed almost perfect too. These grips arent too strong and I wasnt like trying to rip them off the bars when I hold on, they jus gave way.

So I need something stronger.

im using tag grips and like them alot. i can tell there going to last a while for me. i also ran the scott comp II's which were nice. the standard scott grips suck, they wore down after a good weekend of riding.
