what are the advantages of long travel a-arms, i think i know that they are good for mx but are they good for any other types of riding?? also i hear elkas have lots of problems, and that got me thinkin maybe i should get tcs or axis, what do you guys think?:confused:

long travel allows for a more consistant shock, it offers more cooling since there is more oil. The valving can be more precisely tuned for the rider which in the long run will make you able to go faster longer.

I dont trust elkas valving, they do to much of a variety of shocks without the experience some of the other atv shock makers have.

long travel is good with xc or mx its better then 16" every where with the exception of TT
