My side cases are out being polished, otherwise I would snap a pic for you. You should have received directions with pictures.

I did, but they suck.......The instructions say they are for a KX 250 / 500. What do yours say.

Mine had the same directions. But I got mine installed with no problems, maybe you are missing a piece. You know who might have a few pics of one installed is Aaron Wolfe www.400ex.com

Give him a try.

That's wierd...that it won't reach.

Just throw the directions away, We are men, who needs directions.

I don't think i would pull the cable out of the slave cylinder. it might mess somehting up. But i don't have one, so i might be wrong.

Well guys, after about 1 hour I think I finally got it, I hope it is wright. I am very concerned with it. Wont be able to tell for a few days because as you can see in the pic, the motor is torn apart to make way for the new JE 416 and cam. For those considering a Magura clutch, I hope you have some patience.

The instructions from their website are for a CR125/250, but it shows lifting the clutch arm with a hammer. So I'd say you have to be able to pull that clutch arm closer to it.

I am just know getting to read this. Yes you can pull the wire out of the slave. One other thing you have to do is not run the tubing in the same path as the clutch cable. It will get close to the exhaust and melt. (I had this hapen to me at a race) I ran the tube, after I repaired it, along the frame, away from the exhaust. I would show some pics, but my bike is torn down to the frame.

dude it looks to me like you have the slave cylinder on wrong , u need it on between the 2 nuts it looks like , this would put the cable closer to the clutch arm. just look at the first pic you posted compared to the one of aarons . look at the positioning of the slave. yours seems closer to the oil res. than his is.
