Im going to be runnin xc and i was wondering if i can still go without my lid is there are any mud sections or w/e. I am running the filter outwear amd the airbox one. is there anything other people have done b/c i dont wanna lose my airflow/ power by puting the lid back on

A good way to go is with one of those EHS Racing lids. It's a modfied stock lid with a massive square cutout on top and an alum cover around the hole that has an outerwear there to allow it to breath w/o dirt and water getting in there... They are sold on Ebay, not sure where else. I have one, it's great....

yeah kinda sould like what i was thinking about, i could probably rig up something out od one of the lids i have sittin around.
any other ideas?

i have a airbox outerwear on mine and it seems to do real good. I forgot to take it off and put the lid back on and just about all the water that got in there was sittin on top of it. so what ur runnin right now should be ok.

Try putting the 1 inch plugs all over the top. I ran with no lid for a while until I started getting a little more muddy. They work great just have to put like 8 of them in.
