I have a Samsung S105. Didn't get it that long ago, but T-Mobile doesn't sell them anymore. Figures... Anyway, it's a nice phone. Color screen, polyphonic ring tones, onboard internet, awesome battery life, great reception, and all the other bells and whistles. Some pretty sweet games to boot. :)

You can check it out here. (http://www.samsungusa.com/cgi-bin/nabc/prod/hhcommerce/telecommunications/sgh_s105_features.jsp) Samsung has some really nice phones.

i have the motorola v60 with t-mobile, it gets good service around here, but there aren't any cool features about it and it's almost impossible to hear it when it rings.....with all the new phones out there i would look for a better one but that's just my opinion
Well I had a T720 from Verizon, service was great, phone was a bit glichy. I then switched to Nextel.... had the V60 flip phone... POS all the way around. We just canceled them today. Tomorrow I am picking up 2 phones for my plan...1 for me and 1 for my fiance... looks like we will be getting these phones. Going back to Verizon again... hands down the best cell service in the country.

If you really want a cool phone, get the Kyocera 7135. I can do just about anything on it that I can do on my computer.

I never had that problem because I ONLY subscribe to national plans... pretty damn cheap today. Now my Nextel on the other hand was pathetic....our group of 5 guys ranging from Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Charleston, WV all agreed to ditch them. If I was not near the city, I would not rely on it for anything....and in my field of work, if my cell phone does not work..."work does not get done".
I found it funny when I go to the the H/M rides that everyone is surprised that I have cell service... seems like no other company out there can do that. H/M is literally in the middle of nowhere too...

I've got a Motorola T720 and I like it. I haven't really had too many phones just company phones which are of course the cheap ones so I can't compare it to others for you. It's got a color screen and I've downloaded some cool pictures into it for the background. I've also loaded some neat ringtones. Parts like faceplates, chargers, batteries, holsters, etc. are super cheap for it on e-bay too!

does it suck carrying around a magnifying glass to read that little tiny screen? :p
I have an i95cl and am waiting for the new nextels to come out next summer before I upgrade. Camera phone + full color display on the outside=uber cool.

If your in the market for a cell phone i would wait till after thanksgiving they are coming out with all their new stuff around then, well Verizon is anyways. Right now i have the T720 and it is the biggest piece of chit i ever owned...i dont know if anyone else has had problems with it but i is always messing up for me...as for service Verizon is the best around here but im sure if differs with the area that you live in...what ever you choose im make sure you get a picture phone so you can capture those moments that happen when a regular camera is never around. My roommate has one and you wouldnt believe how handy it is when you need to capture some stuff :D

No - but now that you mentioned it, I do remember reading something about that when I was researching it before I bought it. Do you know if I can download and flash it myself or do I have to go to Verizon? Because the people there are idiots when it comes to these phones, when I bought it there answer to every question I had was "I don't know - call this number  "

The phone is small, has a sweet metal case, gets awesome reception. The only prob i had with it was breakin off the antenna. :cuss: I kinda solved that by wearin it on my belt instead of in my pocket.

If you want to update your verizon cell phone all you got to do is dial *228 and follow all the prompts...its pretty easy and it will automaticly download all of the appilcations right on to your phone...good luck

nope i dont see those to features ever comming together in a cell phone.
the ptt is kinda a rip off.. the lowest plan we have is 59.99 and you get 400anytime unlimited n&w and 1000 mtm and unlimited push to talk.. for buisnesses its good but for one pereson i dont see the value of it, might as well use the 1000mtm and call any verizon customer..!:eek2:

I had nextel. They suck big time. I finally got out of the contract and I went out and got verizon. I have the vx6000 camera phone and I forgot the phone my wife has. But verizon is so far the best cell company I ever had. No matter were I'm at I always have full signal strength. Hope this helps.

Yep, we went with the 59.99 Americas choice plan to replace our nextel plan... 800 anytime, 1000 MTM & unlimited nights and weekends. I added my fiance for $20.00 so she can get rid of her 35.00/month AT&T crap.

Hmmm, am I the only person using a LG VX4400? Great work phone, has alot of features I use daily. I just wish a company would come out with a battery that will take 4-6 hours a day talk time without having to recharge during the day. I have used larger batteries, battery extenders, and they are all the same. Work great for a month, then they go south. Also use a T720 for home use, no complaints. Work I have Verizon, and home Cingular. No big difference in service.
Best cell phone I ever had was a Qualcomm. Work retired it after 31,000 minutes. RIP
