The Bombardier DS650? Big quad... strong engine... lots of suspension travel... big quad...

i think they look gay

my friend thinks they are the bets and fasterst quad in the world

My dads friend has one & you need to ne kinda big to control it good. It isnt fun to mess around on either unless your big like 200+ lbs. they are huge monsters without reverse....very dependable & looks the coolest second to the 660 crapturd

The 2004 are much improved for size and weight. Their looks are certainly discussable but they grow on you.

They are also comparable to Hondas for their dependability. Also very strong and fast.

With the right mods they can have unbelievable speed.

WAY too BIG . I aint a big guy at 5'8" and 150 lbs and this thing is like a TANK . I guess its OK if you're over 6 foot and over 200lbs to be able to handle it . I found it funny to watch Keith Little take a tumble on the DS650 in the last Huevos video . LOL. He looked TINY on it.

i really like them i like the looks (no front fenders) and they have very stong motors lots of power in stock form and can be modded to go extremly fast. They are very big but im 5 10 225 so it fits my pretty good alot better than my 300ex if i had the money thats what my next quad would be

I am 6ft an 240lb and i find them freaking hard to manuver on a track. Jumping the thing it almost as scary as jumping out of a plane with your chut mal fonctionning. (Read other post). I find the honda is the best. So easy to manuver. I would still love to have one for winter riding though.

Well, where do you plan on riding it??? I didn't hear anyone ask this question yet. They are not junk when used for their intended purpose, and the track is not it. The urban legend is that the DS stands for Dune Sport or Desert Sport. And these two areas are what it thrives in. I have actually rode one quite a bit so I feel I can give some opinion. In the dunes, they handle extremely well and are very good jumpers despite their size. They have excellent suspension and ride like a Cadilac. The Rotax motor is bullet proof and can be modded to make some unreal hp. If you're looking for a MX or XC bike, it is probably the most wrong decision you could make. But for slinging sand or 5th gear pinned over desert terrain, there's not another stock bike that can do an overall better job.

I have ridden a few quads Zuki LT 250 (piped and jetted), Blaster (piped and jetted), 300 ED (stock), and 400EX (piped and jetted) and I just recently bought one of the DS650's. It looks like it would be hard to manuever cause it sits high, but I weigh 210 and it is nothing less than awesome !!! It squats when you get on it (about the height of the Craptor) but it handles better than anything else I have ridden overall. It is scary fast, awesome suspension (if you get a honda it will cost $1,500 to get the same) and outright kicks ***! It is the fastest production quad made for now with 10-11 horses more than the Raptor. even though it is 40 pounds heavier it is way better. Bombardier makes Sea Doo enginges and even aircraft engines - they are bulletproof. I got mine for $6,400 which was $100 less than the Banxhee I was considering. In my opinion you can't beat it. It jumps awesome. The only downside (possibly) is that it is sooo wide. But if you look around a lot of riders spend a ton of money to get extended A-arms and rear axles. This bike has them stock along with the suspension (most travel around 12 inches), and the cool front fenders (no race plastics needed and you don't get covered in mud). It may not be for everyone, but I wouldn't trade it.

my 2001 DS 650 was a bad *** bike, i loved the way it jumped and rode. weight aint a factor on the DS unless you are a wuss and cant use your muscles. i could throw mine around just fine and jump it farther than guys on 400ex's and raptors. if i find it, there is a webpage with pics and movies of a guy with a DS just airing the hell out of his DS, and i think he raced MX with it 2. i'll post it if i can find it
