Adjust throttle till no slack?

I recently found out adjusting the throttle. I did some searches, but am confused if I should leave a little slack or no slack. And why would Honda send out the quads if the throttle was only opening 75%? You think they would have noticed? Thanks!

You need a little slack in the cable. If you tighten them to much you can pull the needle out and you are stuck with a wide open throttle.

i adjust mine so theres like a 1/32 on slack. :o i like it alot more then how honda sets it up. much better "throttle response"
