your gonna burn up your electrical system and possibly melt your headlight housing if the wires dont go up in smoke first...

ive had these lights for a long time sittin around. I bent the stock bracket and broke the plastic after i rolled it off a dune at the beach. im going riding about 3 hours from my house in a week and i needed lights cause were doin a bunch of night riding. i just dont want to get there and have my stuff burn up.

Welp, I feel like an arse...guess I need to read a little closer. I was thinkin about the 400EX, not the 300EX as he described... :o

I'll duck out of this one.... :D

actually, if you are adding (2) 55watt bulbs instead of using the stock (1) 55watt, you will be doubling the wattage... again, not a good thing for the stock electical system/wires....if they are used together.

I don't think your lighting system will last long running 110W worth of lights on a 60W system. The most you can run on a 250r, which puts out the same if not more lighting power is 2 35W lights. To run a pair of 50W lights you have to get your stator rewound by ricky stator or someone similar to boost its output to 120W.
