i know this is a real newbie question for most of you but what exactly do cams do for your quad? whats the difference between hotcams and cams?

hot cams is just a brand of cams.

Like honda sells an HRC cam and Sparks has there own brand.

As far as what it does, I'm not one to answer that. Kind of complicated.

The character of the engine. By that I mean when and where the power is delivered in the rpm range.
