It will be fine, they are both 12V batteries.

It works fine, we have done it dozens of times.

You'll be fine, a larger 12-volt battery won't "overload" the electrical system on your quad. If you tried to use a 24-volt battery, then yes, you would overload your system.

If you want equations, I can bore you to death. OR, you can just trust me, you'll be fine.

I had to jump the 440 the other day with a battery charger. I have seen by dad do it a hundred times but I wasn't really sure on what to do. Stupidly, I plugged the charger in first and then went to connect the clips. Lucky for me I accidently dropped the ground clip onto the hot clip and sparks went everywhere. It was then that my friend and I realized to plug the charger in AFTER connected it to the battery. We did that and it went smoothly once I figured out to set it on 12V instead of 6V. :D

by the time u whip out the jumper cables,, pot the hood,, get the car close,, hook em up to the terminals(which is a ***** with the quad) u could have already pushed it down ur driveway and poped the clutch:rolleyes: ;)

And what happens if it doesn't start on the first time. Do you push it again, or do you get the cables?

...and I agree with everyone else, you can jump start your quad from you car or car charger.
