400ex bumper and grab bar on 86R

A friend is selling me a front bumer and rear grab bar for a 400ex 2000 . Will they fit on the my 86 R with little or no mods?

The front bumper will fit, It will need to be bent a little bit inwards. The rear grab bar... last time I checked on my 400ex it didnt have a rear grab bar.

Although some people modify there subframe to fit a 250r grab bar.

Thats what i did with mine, it works out quite good. Just cut off the present grab bar, then you will have to make brackets with predrilled holes to fit the pattern of the R Grab bars. Then just weld it on the bottm of the subframe. It works awsome!

um 400 ex doesnt have a grab bar it is a one peace sumframe n grab bar

Unless he added a grab-bar to his subframe-it won't fit. A lot of people drill 250r grab-bars on their 400's. The bumper will though.
