it's close to a stage 1 hot cam but not the stage 2.

you want bottem end or top end power???

XR cam is not a topend cam.

I would not be my choice for a cam, but there is nothing wrong with the xr400 It's made by Honda:)

I love mine! Factory Honda, not aftermarket or rewelded! I ride in the woods, not slow, but not blur fast either. I think it's the perfect cam for me.

How much more top end would you gain off of the stage 2? im thinking about going with that but will i lose any low end? i ordered a JE 10.8:1 piston and i have a full lrd exhaust.

If you want some more mid - top end with out loosing much low end if any buy the HRC cam. It's a honda Hop Up Cam for the 400 motor.

HRC = Honda Racing Corp.

Part # 14000-NKK-000
