Hi, if anyone knows of anyone that is looking for a great car I've got one for sale. I'm selling it because its an extra, and I'm ready to start modding my 400EX and need the money. I might be interested in partial trades, so just ask.
So what I've got.....its a 1992 Chevy Caprice. It has the 9C1 package, and was a police car. This mean it has the heavy duty suspension, brakes, oil coolers, and a shift kit. It has a 350 engine and OD transmission. New parts include..... new Accel wires, Delco spark plugs, O2 Sensor, $50.00+ EGR valve, front brake pads, belt tensioner on the engine, and there's more I'm sure I've forgotten. I just changed the transmission fluid and filter before I drove the car to Silver Lake (problem free, I might add)
Right now is has the Impala SS grill in it with a chrome Bowtie (looks good!), and I have the orginal Caprice grill to go with it. The car has a Pioneer double din CD headunit. It has a nice amp and 2 12in Jenson subs that are fairly new. It also has a Grant steering wheel, that looks awesome. As you can see from the pics the tint is VERY dark. I didn't put it on, but have never had a problem with it. The car has dual catback exhaust and I added one of those throttle body spacer. It has the wheels in the 1st picture on it now. I'm also including a set of wheel adapters to run S10/Fbody wheels on the car.
Problems. The car leaks power steering fliud. I've never really looked at it, because its not that hard to top it off on occasion. The paint isn't perfect. The car is at the body shop right now getting both doors painted (see pic), but there are a few spots here and there that are not perfect. Could also use two rear tires in the not so distant future.
There's really a lot of car here for the price. I'd like to throw a hitch on it and use it as my quad hauler seeing as the drivetrain is the same as Chevy's truck, but I can't keep all of my toys. The car has 185K miles on the body. I know the transmission has been rebuilt and the previous owner told me the engine had been out of the car at one point in time. It runs good and has great oil pressure.
I'm asking $2,500 for it. I might wheel and deal on some EX part, so let me know what you've got. I'm not looking for any other quads, or Mazda's. Thanks for looking!
