Kind of tough to see. I seen Jeff ride for entire weekend with a 1 inch gash in his sidewall with these.

Jeff- Do you think these will become affordable for trail riders? Or are they just intended for racing?

Haven't we heard that before? I'd like to know what's involved in mounting the tires with tire balls. I'm running Stock class next year (looking forward to pump gas!), so I may have a little extra money.

I ran 10 desert races this year and not once did I finish without a flat of some sort , these could be the ticket!

I can't wait to get some info on this setup. They sound great, but are a little expensive.

I was sick with the amount of money I spent on wheels & tires this season, it more than doubled the amount of money I put into the rest of my machine.

hey these tire balls were invented by Scott Summers dad.You KY boys should know who he is if your at least 20years old.Scott Summers is a 4 or 5 time gncc motorcycle national number one rider he was making a comeback this year and has been testing these tire balls during the races and last I heard he hasn't had a single flat this year and I would have to say that is incredable.

There are about 12 air filled puncture resistant balls that go inside your tires. If several go flat (we haven't had a single one go flat from a puncture in 6 months of testing) you won't even know it because the the other balls move around to fill in the area. You don't run any air in your tires.
They also provide amazing traction and a much inproved ride.

how do u get your tires mounted with them in:confused:

cdalejef

Its not as hard as it sounds! you put the balls in and slide it over the rim like you normally do. Then use tire irons to pull the bead on. It is easier to do on beadlocks but isn't bad on non beadlocks either.

Jeffro, any pricing on them balls yet, I'm gonna be buying rear rims/tires real soon and might get myself some balls if they aren't too expensive. I already did a search and can't find anything...

I believe they are like $220 per tire. When you can keep up with the Group at H/M, then you might need them.

There is a pending deal between Exriders and Tire Balls Inc, I'm gonna let our admint announce the prices.

Hey Jeff - I talked to someone at Sparta when I was checking them out at the display last, I don't know if it was Scott's dad or who it was - anyway I think he told me you have to have them for the specific size and tire you are running? Size makes sense I guess because the volume between the rim and tire is greater, but different balls for different brands of tires? Is this true?

cdalejef
01-21-2004, 09:30 AM
No, they are the same balls but different brands of tire require different pressure in each ball.

Ouch!! they better be bulletproof because this may be a bit hard to justify with my wife, although if these could double as breast implants when my racing career is washed up I may have an in!!!
Now that would be a truly brilliant product.....:D
