View Full Version : 440ex jetting,help me PLEASE!

Hey guys i'm running, White bros 440 kit, 11:1 je piston, race ported, 3 angel valve job, ct race exaust, k&N air filter, no lid, Ct/Web "race" cams, hardned rockers, and stock carb.

anyone know where i should even start with my jetting? any other help would surly be appreciated.

When I had just the 12.5:1, ported and XR400 cam, snorkle off, lid on with 6-1" holes, stock airfilter, 2.5 turns out on the pilot screw, my EX ran best with a 42 pilot, 178 main jet at 700' above sea level. I would advise getting a 180, 178, 175 jets and see how they work. All motors are different, but this will probably get you in the ball park.

If I remember right on my stock carb I had a 42 pilot and 178 main. I would get a few above and below those numbers. It should be a good starting point.
