I wouldn't shave the rears, when you get into any mud or sand and bury the tires a little the sand/mud comes straight up and down into your jersey. I've seen mx, dune, and drag quads with shaved fenders but that's about it. I wouldn't do it on a trail quad.

lots of guys do when you do a 426 conversion or a 450 conversion in a 400ex, the kickstarter has to have room.

im not talking about shaving the hole thing. Im talking about where ur foot is at maybe cut it make it a little shorter instead if it being there I have heal guards and i think id feel more comfortabel with that part cut off. Not shaving them like front fenders if u guys got that impretion

hes talkin about a yz426 motor..yeah i think the fenders look pretty good with a couple inches shaved off of the bottom
